We value our relationships with local physicians throughout Michigan and welcome referrals for specialty contact lenses, dry eye treatment, and complex vision cases. We're always eager to connect with new specialists to enhance our collaborative patient care network and ensure comprehensive care for our shared patients.
We operate as an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill medical or vision insurance for eye exams or contact lenses. However, we gladly accept HSA/FSA cards, cash, credit, and debit cards. This allows us the freedom to invest in cutting-edge technology, premium materials, and the necessary time with each patient to deliver the highest quality specialty care without insurance restrictions.

Your appointment includes detailed ocular surface analysis, diagnostic imaging, and a personalized treatment plan discussion tailored to your specific dry eye condition.

We’ll evaluate your child’s prescription progression, discuss treatment options, and create a customized myopia management plan for their long-term eye health.
Step 1: Initial Consultation (60-90 minutes)
Your journey begins with a comprehensive Specialty Contact Lens Consultation, where we perform all necessary testing and advanced imaging to determine the optimal lens solution for your unique eyes. You may try diagnostic lenses during this visit to assess your visual potential with different options.
Step 2: Custom Lens Ordering (1-3 weeks)
Once we’ve designed your custom lenses, we’ll order them specifically for you. Manufacturing typically takes 1-3 weeks depending on the complexity of your prescription.
Step 3: Initial Fitting & Evaluation
When your lenses arrive, you’ll return to try them on for the first time. We’ll evaluate the fit, assess your vision and comfort, and if everything looks promising, you’ll take the lenses home for a trial period.
Step 4: Fine-Tuning & Follow-Ups
After wearing your lenses, you’ll return so we can gather your feedback on comfort and vision quality. We may need to adjust lens parameters to achieve the perfect fit. You’ll have unlimited follow-up visits and lens modifications for three months until we achieve your ideal final product—because getting specialty lenses right takes precision and patience.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due on the day of service for any procedures or treatments performed during your appointment.
Specialty Contact Lens Consultation – Complimentary
Your initial Specialty Contact Lens Consultation is completely free, including the comprehensive examination, advanced imaging, detailed discussion with the doctor, and personalized recommendations. This applies to scleral lenses, prosthetic lenses, hybrid lenses, and other specialty options.
Fitting Fees (If You Proceed with Treatment)
If you choose to move forward with specialty contact lenses within one month of your consultation, fitting fees apply:
These fitting fees include all follow-up visits, adjustments, and lens remakes for three months. We also offer flexible payment plans tailored to fit your budget and make specialty lens care accessible.
Plan for at least three appointments to perfect your specialty contact lens fit—all included in your initial fitting fee at no additional cost.
Appointment 1: Dispensing (3-6 weeks after ordering)
Once your custom lenses are manufactured, you’ll return for your dispensing appointment where we’ll fit the lenses, evaluate your vision, and make initial adjustments as needed.
Appointment 2: Fine-Tuning (2-3 weeks later)
At your follow-up visit, we’ll assess how the lenses are performing in real-world conditions and make any necessary modifications to optimize fit and vision quality.
Appointment 3+: Perfection
Most patients achieve their ideal fit within three visits, though some require up to five appointments during the three-month fitting period. Dr. Morrison is meticulous about perfecting every detail—even microscopic adjustments—to ensure you achieve optimal comfort and the sharpest vision possible. Every follow-up during this period is covered under your global fitting fee.
Yes! We offer two flexible financing solutions to make specialty lens care accessible:
In-House Financing Plan
We can set up a custom payment plan directly through our office tailored to your budget. Here’s how it works:
CareCredit – No-Interest Financing
We accept CareCredit, a healthcare credit card offering 6-month or 12-month interest-free payment plans.
Both options ensure cost doesn’t stand between you and the vision care you need.
Approximately How Much Do Scleral Lenses Cost?
Scleral lens fitting uses a global fee structure, meaning you pay one all-inclusive price that covers:
No hidden fees or surprise charges—everything is included.
Total Investment: $950 – $3,200
This range depends on whether you’re correcting one or both eyes and the complexity of your lens design. Highly specialized lenses (such as those incorporating prism correction or addressing multiple surgical complications) may cost up to $5,000.
Why the Investment?
Unlike disposable soft contact lenses, scleral lenses are durable, long-lasting devices that don’t require regular replacement unless your prescription changes. The cost reflects:
